My Fiancée’s sister is still taking classes, even though she moved to San Diego California. She has mentioned that she might get an ISIC, International Student Identity Card. From what I understand, these ID Cards can get the holder thousands of discounts at top retail stores and websites. In looking online, I found the following discounts listed: - Cheap student flights at STA Travel - 50% off at Park 'n Fly - 15% off at Karmaloop - 15% off Amtrak - 11% off at Macy's - 11% off Jetblue - 10% off Target.com - $13 menu at the Hard Rock Cafe I’m sure there are a bunch of other discounts that are available, but I will have to do a little more research to find out what all of them are. The other thing that I found out is that you can get a youth card if you are under 26 years of age. I think that would come in handy if you are going to be taking a trip abroad. You can’t beat a card that would give you discounts on travel! The card costs $22 and takes a little time to fill out the application. I would suggest getting one if you are a student or recent graduate.
