I have to say that as a young person I was instilled a value for antiques. As I was growing up my parents would take us (the kids) around to different antique stores as well as to places with Historical value. In looking around for places to go and visit one of the locations is the W.H. Stark House. It?s located in Orange Texas. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Place as well as designated as a Historical land mark in Texas.
I have been thinking to visit Texas since my Uncle Bill lived there for so many years, he was outside of Huston and in visiting him as well as attending a Cousin?s wedding, I came to appreciate Texas as more than just a State in the Union. It would be nice to take a road trip and drive through the state stopping Historical locations other than just ?The Alamo?. :)
Back to why I started this the Stark House, not only is it a treasured location, but they also have a collection of Antiques that are available for viewing when you take the tour of the home. They have the ?Crest of Waves? it?s a bronze statue and its just amazing. It reminds me of ?Spirit? the statue that was mentioned in ?Pillars of the Fallen? by Terry Goodkind. If I had to pick something in the real world to compare it to it would be this bronze it is just stunning.
In addition to the art the home is just amazing from the online tour that is available, it?s what you would picture a classic home to be, it?s all hardwood floors and early American furniture with some classic European thrown in.
I can?t wait to go and visit the home in person!!

So there is a a movement a foot after the book "The Secret" came out, it has been taken to a new level with The Sedona Method. The Sedona Method works on strengthening the Ego. This is a little bit different than the method used in the Secret where you are "throwing it out there" to the Universe telling it what you need or want.? A New Earth meets The Secret is more about letting go of the old you and clearing up space for the energy required to attract all that you desire.?? I'm going to have to check with my oldest sister to get her impressions of The Sedona Method, since she has already read the secret and see how she feels about how these two work together, I know we were raised to throw our desirers out into the universe (like wishing) and that as long as you really need something the universe will make sure that it happens.?? I?m going to have to make sure I read ?A New Earth? as soon as I get it from Amazon, I really want to know? what they have to say. The Law of Attraction is something I know that works!

So I have been listening to a bunch of financial shows and they are all talking about getting identity theft protection. I have been thinking of this since we did have a scare on our credit reports a little while ago. So I'm looking into lifelock I have seen a bunch of commercials for them and in doing some research they seem to have a good plan to help keep your credit safe. Its more the hassle of cleaning up the mess if it happens that they protect against since you would not be liable for any credit card charges since those would be fraud. I suggest checking them out!

So there was a homeless black lab hanging around our condo over the weekend. He was the cutest thing ever, for a puppy he was huge. He had a collar that said ?Bad to the bone? on it. We don?t know what happened to him. I had called the Humane Society to see if they had heard from anyone that had lost there puppy. Since we live by a Park I was thinking that maybe he had wandered off from when the Little League was practicing and he came home to late. My Fianc?e is really concerned that he might have been picked up and take into the Humane Society and put to sleep.
We had some kittens that where around about this time last year and we had wanted to maybe keep one of them but by the time we had decided to do that they had been taken away. I heard from Larry that they had been taken to the Humane Society and put to sleep the same day.
I really hope that black lab found his way back home!
