This Earth Day Make a Difference So Earth day is coming up, I dont really know what my pledge would be but I'm working on a couple of things, I try to buy all of my fruits and vegtables from local growers. I started canning last year in order to not have to buy cans of things that I use all the time. That way I'm not filling up the land fills with used cans. I have to say that I am bad with the recycling. We don't have the recyling bins at my condo so I would have to drive to drop it off, Its just easier to make my own stuff. Last year I made Jam's, Jellies & Syurups. This year I'm going to be growing my own garden and canning my own vegtables I want to can asperigus, corn, and other vegitable you have to use a pressure canner on those since you cant do in a water bath. I would love to be able to can eggplant since you can buy the spreads but its to danguerus to make that your self. In addition to the canning, I have also installed all the low flow water faucets and toilet in my house... That was not nearly as fun or as exciting as growing and making your own food. Check out http://greenme.vg that have some great info on Earthday.

So I'm trying to get a little BlogBuzz?for my blog, and I?found out that http://www.investorblogger.com/?is running a little competition with?some other blogs, so i decided to get in on the action. :) I think?my blog is a little different from the rest since I use Joomla and he recommends?WordPress, I find?Joomla to be a lot more flexible. I guess I'm just a little different from the rest of the blogs out there. I did find a great article on his site though, because if you have a blog you want to make a little money with it. So i?suggest checking it out.?He suggest joining Linkworth?but I have not had that much luck with them.
