Spring Garden PDF Print Email

So, I?m running late, I have not planted anything yet for my spring garden. Since we got back from Puerto Rico we have been having Mojito?s, they are my new favorite drink. I need to plant some mint since I have already spent ten dollars just buying mint from the store. Is that sad or what?

So I have been trying to think what to plant other than mint, maybe beets again, I have chives already, home grown lettuce would be good but that might take up to much room.

I know I need to do basil as well as some other just cooking spices?

?

What would you recommend my faithful readers?

So my sister is thinking of?quitting her job and staying home with her two kids. I have told her that she should start a blog or find some way to make some money at home. She is not really sure how to go about this, I have told her she should look at SocialSpark.

They are a website where you can sign up to get Sponsored Post.

What is a Sponsored Post you ask, well a sponsored post is where you write about a given subject and then get paid for it by an advertiser. By doing these post you can get paid anywhere from $1 to $100 or more based on the quality of your website.

There are a couple of things that determine how your website is ranked, these range from how many views or hits it gets per day to how many people link to your site.

If you are a stay at home parent then you would have time to build up these different area's (back links, content & view). Depending on how much time you spend at it, you can be a successful blogger and making a good supplemental income in a short period of time. Sis's you REALLY need to do this, even if you don?t think you are good at using a computer this is something that is easy and you can make money at!!

If you work hard at it you can make a bunch of money, they say you can make a leaving off of it, but I think to do that you would have to commit the same amount of time as a full time job if not more, so I would start at small and as the kids get older you can dedicate more time to blogging and then bring in a full time income once they are in school full time.

BBQ season PDF Print Email

It?s BBQ season, I attended my first BBQ over the weekend. I have to say that I don?t think I can be a vegetarian over the summer. My fianc?e thinks that we need to start eating more vegetables and give up the meat. I don?t know how well I?m going to be able to do this.

Its summer and the Steak?s, chickens & fish are calling to me to put them on the grill!! My only problem is I don?t have my own grill at the moment. I have been thinking of buying one but I also asked my parent to bring up the Charcoal grill I had when I lived in Tucson.

It?s a nice charcoal grill with a cover and a temperature gauge on the front, and it?s made out of cast iron so it gets nice and hot and can COOK those steaks! How can you give something like that up? It?s hard, but they also have the gas grills and those are so much easier to use when you get home from work since you don?t have to have them heat up. Grill

Ummmm Steak!!!

My boss was telling me that she has one of these.
I would not mind on of these you can just fold it up out of the way?

Since summer is now here I?m going to have to do something soon?

STEAK!!

So I think that I might sign up for zookoda.com I have been trying to promote my site as well as trying to get more traffic.

I was looking at there site and they offer a slew of services (listed below)

Zookoda offers: Manage email newsletter subscribers.
Enhance your blog with custom newsletter subscription forms.
Design eye-catching newletters to match your blog design.
Schedule recurring broadcasts for each day, week or month.
View real-time open, bounce, click and unsubscribe reports.
Access mobile users by emailing blog content in text format.

I think they might be able to get my message out, I have signed up for a couple of sites where they will promote your RSS feed but I don?t this that is going to cover all the marketing opportunities that are available.

I would love to know if anyone that is reading this has used their service, I have found a couple of reviews online and they were all positive. I need to read there forum and see what kind of feedback they are getting from there users. I have found that the forums on a site give you the best impression of how well a site is working for its members. There are not a lot of posts yet, so the site must be kind of new. I think I?m going to sign up and check out the reporting function if it works really well I will use this service.

I'm going to sign up and give it a whirl!!

Boil the macaroni in a 2 quart saucepan in plenty of water until tender, about 7 minutes. Drain. In a medium saucepan, mix butter and cheese. Stir until the cheese melts. The World Through My Eyes PDF Print Email

The World Through My Eyesis a neat little blog. It's written by a young lady that has a good since of humor. Some of her posts are very insightful as well as funny. Most of the post's just like mine are taken from her life either from trips or from, general experiences from her day. She has a great post about people driving as well as PDA (Public Displays of Affection).

From readying through her blog, it looks like its updated once a week or twice a month, for a teenager I have to say that that seems a little sparce but when she ads items they are of high quality, with a about 500 words per post. I would recommend checking out The World Through My Eyes?and let me know what you think my opinion is that its a little gem on the net.

Have a great day!!
