So I was looking around the Internet since I have been getting a lot of spam as of late I would like to block spam from getting into my email. I have tried a couple of different programs and I have not found one that seems to work very well. From the information available it looks like if you use a stateful firewall it will block some spam from getting into your mail box. With the Stateful firewall you can block IP Address's that are known to privy spam. Over all I would suggest checking out the site it has some helpful information and you can do searches for articles that might help you fix any problems you have.
The search feature is very through I did a search for spam block it returned a plethora of articles. It even brought back some results for the Windows Vista build in firewall and spam filtering service. I did not know that it had been built into Vista. It looks like from one of the articles the best way to block spam and other harm full emails is to have a program set up on your mail server.
