We are working on getting ourselves a couple of trade show booths for work. I have been looking at a couple of different options but I have not really found anything I like, there are table skirts if you want to use banquet style tables at a “Home Show” plus you can get banner stands to put in your space to bring attention to your product and if you go all out you can get Pipe and Drape setups to enclose your space. I have found that you really almost have to get everything to have a successful presence. I used to attend the SABHA Home Show for Cox Communications and we would just use table skirts and some banner stands.

With that set up we would get a bunch of people to stop by but they were mostly the people that are walking the isles looking at every booth. We were not a stand out exhibiter. The people that had the booths with the lights and drapes and the whole sha-bang those people made some sales.

My parents have been talking about going on a trip overseas to see a couple of places that they have not been before. I’m thinking that I might have to get a couple of international phone cards. That why I will be able to call then when they are out of the country, its going to be a little bit of a challenge since they will be traveling round a lot. I did find one site (link:http://www.getmecallingcards.com/world_wide_calling.html) they have all of the countries you can call listed. I have to say that is a handy list since they will be traveling to a couple of different countries on theirtravels.

I just called Joe's Place Farm and they have the vetrin peaches. I'm going to have to get a box after work and maybe start a batch tonight after I get home. I really want to have some brandy peaches. They are just so good with a little ice cream!! :)

So I was loaned two more  "Southern Vampire" Novels today. They are the Sookie Stackhouse books. So its the last two before the final book in the series. I'm going to have to go and get the other ones so I can read them in order since I think they are set up that way. It should be a fun week except I dont know how much reading I will get done this weekend since family is coming to town.

I was thinking to continue my garden this winter in order to do that I need to get some Indoor Planters. I don’t know what kind to get and I’m unsure what the best route would be. I’m thinking I’m going to need to get some grow lights or some kind of lamp in order to have the plants do well. If I can keep the garden going all winter then I will have a great head start next summer.

I have been reading up and found out that there are Garden Planters that you can get as well as Window Box Planters. These are both things that I need to look into since my growing space outside is really small. I have some small pots that I’m growing some stuff in now but they are not doing very well, I have a cucumber plant that is about half dead and I have only gotten one cucumber off of it.

I will keep you all updated on what happens this winter with my indoor garden. I’m thinking I will just start with Herbs and not try anything fancy.

So I ended up reading "Dead Until Dark" last night. I could not put it down and ended up reading it all in one night. The reason that I ended up reading the book in one night is that I watched the first episode of "True Blood" and could just not wait to find out what happens. I have to say that I want to read the sequal "Living Dead in Dallas" I'm thinking I will get it after work tommorow. I dont think I will be able to read that in one night.
