I was looking at what it would cost to replace the air conditioning compressor in my car and if you get them at the local shops they seem to be really expensive. I have been looking online to see how what kind of deal I can get. There is a site called discountcompressor.com and you can find some really good deals. If you are looking to get a deal check them out.

I have been trying a new hosting service for my other domain name and I have been having a couple of minor issues with them and ONE big issue. They have not been able to transfer over my current domain (the one you are reading this on now) so I have been looking for a new webhosting service and I think I’m going to have to go with one that charges a little bit more than I’m paying now for both of my domains to be hosted. I have been looking at different services listed at webhostingrating.com and I think I might have found a service but it’s really coming down to customer service at the moment. I need a company that has people that know how the internet works. My issue right now with the two companies I’m using is that there first line of customer service only knows how to log a ticket and you never talk to a person that could just fix your issue. If you are searching for your first hosting company I would suggest you read this article Click me to read the article.

I don’t know what to do this weekend. I know I will be working on the floor in the kitchen but I also think that I would like to go to a movie or do something fun. I would not mind driving out to the coast or up the Gorge or something to just get out of “Dodge”. Either that or go to Seattle or anywhere, I don’t think we will be doing any of that though. We are going to end up working on the floor all weekend in the kitchen and then maybe going down to the winery. At least the winery will be fun!

With school starting it looks like a lot of the cable companies are promoting some specials. The one that I saw is for Charter Communications they are promoting the Charter Laptop-a-Day Giveaway. Here are the specifications for the laptop:- New HP Compaq Presario C770US Notebook - Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core processor - 15.4” WXGA Screen - 2GB RAM - 160GB hard drive - DVD burner - Built in Wi-Fi and Ethernet - Plus a Neotec Laptop backpack They are going to be giving away thirty laptops over the next thirty days when you sign up for Charter High Speed Internet. If you are going to be getting service in the next thirty days I would make sure that you ask about this promotion when you sign up for services. If not you can get information at the Charter site (www.charter.com) where you can see what your odds of winning are plus they have the sweepstakes rules available there as well.

I love the art work they are doing for the new series on HBO called True Blood they have re-issued the first book in the series. I have posted a picture of the book on the right. I just love how they did it so the tongue looks so real. I was trying to get a copy of the book to read before the series comes out but I have not been able to find a used copy and paperback books now cost eight dollars. That is just outrageous I remember when they were five dollars apiece.

I can’t believe that the year is almost over. It’s going to be Christmas soon and that mean that it’s getting closer and closer to black Friday. You know Black Friday is when all the stores have there big lost leader ads. Those ads come out when they run the thanksgiving ads. Last year I found a site called blackfridayonline.com they have all the ads so you can order the products you want online so you don’t have to go into the store on the busiest shopping day of the year. You can order from the comfort of your own home and still get the best deals available. Some of the stores based on what blackfridayonline.com is saying already have some of there circulars available they have a draft of the Ace Hardware ad already and its only August. I hope they have some really good deals this year. I don’t know what I want but I know that I want to get an LCD TV this year. I’m trying to save up a couple of hundred dollars. I would like to have a thousand to spend just on a TV but I don’t think that is going to happen.

I love South Park they are running a Mr/Mrs Garrison week. I have to say that those episodes are just the funniest thing ever. I guess it is being sponsord by Hamlet II: The Musical. I dont know if I could watch that movie in the Theater. I'm going to have to wait to watch it on DVD, because if I start laughing I think I might make some of the people in the audiance upset. I laugh kind of loud sometimes. So it would be better to just watch it at home.

I was trying to find some info about mobile phones and the technology behind them. In doing my research I came across SJA Mobile, this site is just full of information about mobile phones. They have a bunch of reviews about the different phones that are out on the market.

The following link is really cool, they have video's showing how the Human Heart works and the different parts that make it up. It's set up by St. Judas. This video would be great for a school or for anyone that is interested in how the human body works. Check out the video, I thought it was great, it is very detailed.
