I love the fact that you can now use a reverse phone directory to find out who called you. We get a bunch of calls at our house and they don't bring up caller id info sometimes. When that happens we used to just call the number back and ask who they are and why they are calling. Now we use tracenumber.com all you do is put in the number with the area code and hit the submit button and you get all the information about that number. Its great!! The best thing is it lets you know when a company is calling that you don't want to talk to like telemarketers and if a friend got a new number you get to see there name when you put there number in so you know its someone you want to call back! Try it out... its a must have bookmarked website.

I made some blueberry jam last night. It’s only the second time that I have made it, the first time it came out more like a syrup than a jam. I think it might have been the stove I was using. I have an electric stove in my kitchen and I think it just could not get the berries hot enough. I have to get new elements for the stove since they don’t heat evenly anymore.
This year though I was making the jam outside on a Coleman road trip with the stove inserts and it got really HOT. So hot that it was hard to stand out there with it. I was sweating like a pig. Plus to top it all off it boiled over at one point. But on the bright side I was looking at it today and it jelled up really nice. So I will be having fresh home made jam all this winter. :)
It goes great with frozen custard!

I was thinking to get a Jensen JiMS 525i I have been looking at them online and they have a bunch of features that you can use with your iPod. The one that I really like is the iTunes Tagging so if you are listing to the radio you can have it tell iTunes that you want to download that song. Plus the Jensens is also an HD Radio so you can get all of the new music stations that they are offering. Its like having a new tier on Digital cable. It’s great! I would like to have an HD radio in my car but I’m not ready to spend the money on it I would rather have something in my home.  The other great thing about the JiMS is that it has a remote and S-video jack. Since I already have a couple of old radio’s in the house this one would be the top of the line model for the bedroom!

The heat is a little to much this weekend. I was planning on doing blueberry jam today and I'm just starting at 8pm tonight since it was so hot during the day. It was 105 when I went shopping today. For the Portland and Vancouver area that is almost unheard of. So at 8pm tonight I have just started heating up the water bath and cooking the berries.
