I was thinking we might need to change our global long distance carrier. We have been using our cell phones more and more and we have gotten away from using our home phone to call Europe even though the rates are cheaper on the land line. I was surfing around and came across Tabrio.com and they have an international calling plan for cell phones. We call Germany the most since that is where my Fiancée’s best friend is currently living and the rates with Tabrio from a cell phone would only be 5 cents a minute. For a cell phone that is a GREAT rate. I hope that you check them out!!

So with the new floor in the house, I have to say that we have both noticed that the house smells so much better. The house is just coming togeather. I think we are going to do the kitchen with the new Floor in about 2 or 3 weeks. I'm really worried that we might have to replace a bunch of the subfloor in the kitchen. I really dont want to take everything out of the kitchen and come to find out we have to replace everything.

The next time I need to do a home project I’m going to be getting a Contractor to do it. I was trying to save money by putting the floor in this weekend myself. I got the floor in but I’m paying for it today. I’m soar all over and everything hurts even walking. My hands are all swollen from hammering away to take out some stubborn linoleum. I was doing a search at work and I found a site that links to San Diego Contractors, but in looking at the site they also have contractors in Vancouver Washington (link: http://contractors.clicksmart.com/Vancouver-Washington) So that is what I’m going to be doing. Since the next project is to inset the Refrigerator into a storage closet in the kitchen to give us more space.

So last night we got almost all of the floor done. We have one little strip that needs to be cut and laid in along the far wall in the living room. I have to say that it looks really good and the house smells so much better than it did before. I don’t know what was in the carpet but I’m so glad that it is no longer in the living room. So now all we are going to have to do is the kitchen. That is going to be a little bit of a project. But we will be able to get it done. I don’t know if I will have my parents here to help with that since they are going to be heading home on the 4th of September. Maybe they will stay an extra week.
